It is one thing to make a commitment to clean beauty. It is a whole other thing to find clean beauty products that perform. I want to share (and re-share!) the five clean beauty products that I cannot get enough of! And as we wrap up the official celebration of Earth week, I also want to highlight that these products are impacting the environment for the better too. When companies are committing to healthy formulations for our face and body, they are often committing to being eco-conscious as well. Dedicating themselves to sustainable packaging, deriving ingredients from renewable resources and using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes are just a few of the ways these clean beauty companies are doing their part in supporting our world.
The Five Clean Beauty Products I am Using
Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser
Not just my favorite clean beauty product. This cleanser is my favorite beauty product period. With combination oily, dry and sensitive skin, it is difficult to find a reliable performing cleanser, let alone a clean beauty one. I have shared my love for this cleanser before, and over a year later I am still using it! I cannot imagine anyone not benefiting from it. Safe for even the most sensitive skin (yes even recommended for rosacea!), the Pai cleanser is hydrating, calming, ant-aging and effective! And with every purchase comes a two textured muslin cloth designed to exfoliate or soft cleanse the skin!
Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream
Tata Harper was one of the first pioneers in natural luxury skincare. And let’s be honest, I am a pushover for beautiful packaging. So once again, I am re-sharing a favorite product. This eye cream does just what is says-illuminates and brightens the eye area providing a fresh and luminous glow to it. More than any other product I apply to my skin, this eye cream provides immediate results! Note: Moisturize the under eye area well first before applying.
Naturopathica Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm
Although I felt no need for another cleanser, I have a tendency to purchase beauty products based on scent alone. That is how this cleansing balm ended up on my bathroom vanity! But what I truly have come to love about this product, is that it provides a different sort of cleansing experience. I love the silky texture of a balm. It is uber therapeutic and moisturizing. Applying it to my skin is the closest thing I have felt to having an at home spa experience. Chalk full of anti-aging benefits too, I love rotating this product into my weekly cleansing routine!
OSEA Hyaluronic Sea Serum
Incorporating a serum into your skincare regime is SO important. Why? Because a serum is truly medicine for the skin. With a high concentration, a serum is packed with all those good molecules that can penetrate deeply into the skin. This OSEA serum is infused with hyaluronic acid (a natural substance) known for its deep capacity to attract and hold onto 1000x its weight in moisture. This means your skin gets a heavy dose of hydration deep in the cells. When the skin is heavily hydrated, increased skin cell production can take place because the skin isn’t busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells. I love the dewy finish this serum provides my skin after application!. And don’t let the “acid” scare you away. Hyaluronic Acid can be used on all skin types.
Necessaire The Body Lotion
Fragrance free and devoid of fancy packaging, one would think there is not much to this product. Yet somehow this body lotion manages to provide a luxurious experience for your skin! It is the perfect formula one would want in a lotion-creamy but not oily, thick but fast absorbing and deeply penetrating. Plus it has all the extra good stuff-vitamins, omegas and anti-oxidants that over time, work to better tone and texture your skin.
