We are heading to Florida in a couple of weeks to spend time with my parents (who are vaccinated!) in our favorite destination, Vero Beach! This will most likely be our last spring vacation as a family of four as Madeline heads to college next year! And with our spring break vacation cancelled last year for obvious reasons, this is set to be an extra special time for us.
It’s about this time that I head up to the attic, pull out all of my summer clothes, and decide what I am going to bring with me. In addition, it is always fun to pack a few additional fresh pieces. Whether it be a new accessory to freshen up your basics or a pretty dress for going out at night, I have rounded up some of my favorite resort wear pieces for your spring break vacation!

Ruffled Long Sleeve Top:
I really love this top! It also come in tan. The structure is so good and I just love the ruffle and button detail! Wear this with white denim or a jean skirt!
Floral Dress:
My favorite length is a dress is the midi length! I love the fitted bodice and tiered ruffled bottom. The flutter sleeves add the prettiest touch!
Fringe Bag:
Sometimes all you need is a great accessory to breathe new life into your vacation pieces. This bag is fun but sophisticated. Perfect for day, perfect for night!
Earrings:
For under $10, these earrings scream vacation mode! There are a lot of great additional jewelry pieces available in my Amazon Store here.
Wrap Skirt:
I am absolutely in love with this skirt! And for one of her pieces, I think it is a steal! Wear to the beach or pool but if you pair it with a bodysuit, I love it for wearing out in the evening.
Smock Tee:
A tee with a little bit of interest. I love this smoked tee to wear with anything from shorts to denim. It runs longer-yes!!-and comes in a few colors!
Sandal:
It is the sandal of the season! The woven sandal is all the rage. That coupled with the square toe and this is your “it” shoe to wear with everything!
Maxi Dress:
An easy breezy dress for throwing on over a suit or wearing out on a hot summer day!
Cover-up:
Ok. Remember when I wore this identical cover-up last summer from Free People and everyone went nuts for it! Well here it is for a fraction of the price with lots of color options!
Sun Hat:
The one I featured JUST sold out but here is another great option I just added to my Amazon store. It is packable which is key for me!
Sunnies:
I have my nice pair of sunglasses and then I have an assortment of inexpensive ones on hand that won’t break the bank if I lose! The aviator style is my favorite and for $14 these pair are a no brainer!
Flip-flops:
I have featured these before because I have them and love them! It is a rubber sandal that keeps your foot in place better then a traditional flip-flop.
Floral Dress:
An easy, breezy cotton blend dress. I love pieces that you can just easily throw on for anything! This dress comes on SO many colors and is under $30!
Shirt Dress:
Another favorite style, a shirt dress is my absolute favorite to throw on for lunching or shopping!
Summer Wardrobe Basic Refresh
In need of a basic refresh? These denim shorts sell out every season at some point or another. They are flattering at any age! The only tanks I buy are from Splendid. The length is perfect and the shape and color holds up for years! The reviews on these white denim are excellent. Plus, they are a straight leg which is so hard to come by! An easy short to thrown on and look pulled together. The only shorts I like nowadays. I love this bodysuit so much. It is full coverage at the bottom. It is perfect to wear with summer skirts or to layer under button downs and knits. A summer knit! My favorite item and truly probably one of my most worn items of the summer. Love this newly released knit!
