Series Five Favorites September2021
Well it is officially fall! And with that I updated my Currently Coveting Shopping Page (here) to reflect the new season! I feel like it has been a couple of years since we have really gotten excited about fall fashion and this year does not disappoint! I love what I am seeing in footwear-chunky lug soles and shearling shoes which pairs perfectly with your straight legged denim. Everlane has some great new styles in sweaters and cardigans. And perhaps my favorite piece for fall is this cozy quilted fleece jacket!
Travel & Leisure’s travel award issue just showed up in my mailbox and I am pining for an international trip! But in the meantime, Diptyque candles just released a collection inspired by a cultural journey around the world. Le Grand Tour hones in on five cities, each capturing the essence of them through fragrance. This one in particular is seasonably appropriate!
My girlfriend and I were just talking the other day, that come fall, everything has to be infused with pumpkin! It is amazing how many food products capitalize on this! Just give me a slice of homemade pumpkin pie and I am good for the season! Lol! But fall also evokes the need for great comfort food dishes. That I can get on board with! And I recently fell upon the Modern Proper- a recipe website that rounds up so many beautiful but attainable hearty dishes! There are plenty of easy weeknight dishes to add to your recipe rolodex. This week, I am making their Easy Lemon Chicken.
I do not get too into decorating for fall, especially with older kids now, but I fell upon these velvet pumpkins (for such a great price!) and I couldn’t resist! They come in so many other color combos too. And well, then I started going down the rabbit hole of chic fall decor and posted this round-up to my LIKEtoKNOW.it page!
Who has watched this documentary on Netflix ? If not, it is a captivating story (albeit a little dark) with some haunting details that got plenty of press (bad press that is) surrounding the handling of the story.
Thanks for stopping by!
