Reader’s request! Now that we are home, it’s important to try and find ways to fill our days. I will admit, I can find plenty of things to help me power through the day. My teenagers on the other hand? Well they need a little more guidance! So I have been searching for ways to make their days a little bit brighter, comfortable and more engaging.
With Easter around the corner, I thought it would be fun then to put some of my ideas into their Easter basket and share them with all of you!
Easter Basket Gift Ideas for Teens
Engagement Games
Other than doing their e-learning, the only other thing I ask of my kids on a daily basis is to come together at the end of the day to play a game as a family. Uno and Mexican Train Dominoes have been our top two choices lately. With warmer weather (hopefully) around the corner, I like these options for outdoors! You can search on Amazon for a ton of other ideas!
Ring Toss // Mega Jenga here and here // Beach Bats// Bounce Battle
Loungewear and Grooming for Him
While I try to encourage our household to get dressed most days, let’s be honest, living in loungewear is our reality! Fresh joggers, tees, socks, and hoodies for the boys are here on replenish! And while the boys may not be into self-care as much as us ladies, you probably can get away with adding shower bombs and a razor shave set to the basket!
Socks // Hoodie // Jogger // Razor Shave Set // Shower Bombs
Candy
Get a head start on ordering up your candy because it will sell out fast! Sugarfina is currently offering 15% off their website! Also, Williams Sonoma has some beautifully put together Easter Baskets already filled with candy and chocolate!
Chocolate Bunnies // Sugarfina Boutique Tasting Box // Neuhaus Chocolate Egg// Dylan’s Candy Bar Chocolate Wheel // Gourmet Jelly Beans
Mind Games
The options are endless! There are so many great games, jigsaw puzzles, mind teasers, crossword puzzles and coloring books (so therapeutic!) geared towards teens. Amazon is delivering many of these in plenty of time for Easter!
Game of Phones // “Friends” Puzzle // Mind Games // Word Search // Mazes for Teens // Miniature House Kit (I love this!)
here and here // Coloring Books here and here
Tech
I am sure we all have a love/hate relationship with tech but never have I appreciated it more then during these unprecedented times! A few “extra” tech things to consider for your teens!
Travel Speaker (as in traveling room to room!) // Wideangle Lens for Smart Phone// Electronic Smart House //
The Original Toilet Night Light (lol!) // Electronic Drum Set
Loungewear and Spa Gifts for Her
Loungewear is the best wear! Its what we will be living in at home for the near future and Madeline will be getting fresh pieces for Easter. Of course loungewear goes hand in hand with self-care. Again, there are endless options of items to add into an Easter Basket. Face masks, lotions, candles, bubble bath, nail polish etc. I am just linking a few things with an Easter theme! Also, if you have not already subscribed yourself or your daughter to Billie Razors, you are missing out! I promise!
Bouclè Cardigan // Joggers // Hoodies // Fuzzy Socks // Slippers (these are FAUX fur) // Famous Painting Socks here // Pocket Bunny Mist//
Gold Egg Lip Balm// Billie Razor
Books
Nothing like a good old fashion book to flip through, learn from or escape with! I know Amazon is backlogged with a lot of current reads right now but our local bookstore, Lake Forest Book Store, is still taking on-line orders and shipping directly to you!
DC Comics Book (on sale!) // American Royals// Nutella Recipe Book// Cookie Perfection
