There is a chill in the air. Maybe a little too soon for this time of year. But the good news is that I have been throwing on my latest Everlane piece to keep me warm. With a slight crop fit, I love this over a swimsuit or with a pair of high rise denim or joggers. It comes in a bunch of colors! Oh! It is also made from 100% recycled material!
August saw myself in an airplane-a lot-so of course I had plenty of time to read American Way cover to cover. I loved this feature about a little corner in Vermont, deemed Vermont’s flavor empire. I am trying to figure out how I can get a last minute fall trip booked here!
3. Dogfish Inn
Speaking of travels, the middle of August saw me and my youngest on the coast of Delaware. We were lucky enough to discover the town of Lewes (first town in the first state for all you history buffs!) and even luckier to lay our heads at the Dogfish Inn. It is the perfect basecamp for adventure seekers (and beer lovers) who want to explore coastal Delaware. Set in a historic harbor town with beautiful beaches, bike trails and outstanding shopping, this is somewhere we definitely want to spend more time at next summer!
The kids are back in school. As much as I miss having them at home, I love getting back into a routine and catching up on household to-do’s that have sat dormant all summer long. I am currently putting the finishing touches on my dressing room and master bathroom. With some art and photographs to be hung, I don’t have the time or the patience for custom framing right now. So I just ordered up these gallery frames from Pottery Barn. Simple, sleek and just what I need. Plus, it is a great price for acrylic. Even better, Pottery Barn is having a big sale right now. Up to thirty percent off just about everything plus free shipping!
5. Coffee Table Books
I have been ordering up a bunch of coffee table books on Amazon. I can never seem to have enough! These three are all on pre-order:
