Linen Spray.
Confession. Our dogs sleep in our bed with us. So even though washing our sheets is a very common occurrence, I need a little something extra to make me feel like I am sinking into fresh sheets every night. Queue in this linen spray that doubles as a room spray. It smells like heaven and truly makes you feel like you are slipping into the finest hotel sheets at night!

Hoxton Hotel.
I always sit up and take notice when a new hotel pops up (or in!) to Chicago. I am especially excited though with the arrival of the Hoxton Hotel that just landed in the Fulton Market District. Already one of Chicago’s hippest gentrified areas, the FMD is filled with cutting edge tech companies, some of the city’s best restaurants and bar scenes as well as unique retail establishments. Yet what you will not find is a collection of boutique hotels that would seemingly round out this neighborhood. That makes the arrival of the Hoxton all the more thrilling.
I recently had drinks in the stunning and spacious lobby of the hotel the weekend they opened their doors. I was impressed with the service and libation menu as well as the plentiful seating options. I’m looking forward to going back and exploring the other offerings here, most notably Stephanie Izard’s (Girl & The Goat!) rooftop bar and restaurant!

Sea NY.
Do you ever find yourself perusing over different retailer websites, double click on a piece of clothing you like and realize that it continuously comes from the same designer? That is me lately with the designer Sea NY. It is a brand worth knowing especially if you have a taste for beautifully structured feminine blouses! Find a well curated collection here and here.

Classic Margarita.
Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner and with that comes the “official” start to margarita season! My preference? A classic margarita on the rocks. I love this step by step recipe from Epicurious that goes into detail on how to choose the right type of tequila for your taste. A frozen margarita more your speed? There is a step by step recipe for that here too!

Wool Dryer Balls.
I think we all are standing up and taking a lot more notice in not only the celebration of Earth Day nowadays but what is happening to are world everyday (at least we should and need to be!). In honor of Earth Day this week, I am trying to make additional efforts to reduce waste in our everyday life. An easy household swap for helping the environment is switching out your dryer sheets with wool dryer balls. Just as effective for softening and static clean but with the added bonus of cutting your drying time in half, these work for up to 1,000 loads!
