Crochet and Eyelet Clothing for Spring
I feel much more confident posting spring and summer content now! Lol! Do I dare say we have a break in the weather and we can finally shed most of our winter wear? From a fashion standpoint, any change of season excites me! I love to see the pieces that emerge and take center stage. I also love seeing a style genre I never imagined myself being attracted to, all of a sudden catching my eye. For me, that is crochet and eyelet pieces this spring.
Crochet and eyelet first caught my eye when I fell in love with this flattering swimsuit for spring break. Since then, I have found the prettiest tops and dresses too! Of course these styles come in just about any color, but I love the pure white look in just about all of them. You know I am a big advocate of wearing white all year round! White eyelet and crochet for spring should be worn with confidence then!

Other Spring Odds and Ends Favorites
Clearly the color marigold is a color I have been crushing on lately too. I love the rich tones to it and think it looks so pretty with white, navy, red and moss green. I would even pair it with light pink as well! My marigold bucket bag is from last season and sold out (ironically a crochet version available here) but these sandals are readily available and under $70. I love this closed toed version as well (size up in both styles).
Another accessory I’m widely using this spring is the hair kerchief. I pawned this off my daughter during spring break to keep the sun off my head when I didn’t feel like wearing my hat! Now it is doing a nice job of covering up my long overdue root touch up! It hides dirty hair well too! Besides that, I love tying them onto a bag or adding it a ponytail. Mine is available in Old Navy stores. Look for their “neck kerchiefs” as they are lighter in weight and feel better on your head.
Finally I need to talk about these hoops. Always a hoop girl, I feel these thicker, hollow versions are perfect to wear with added texture or patterned pieces this spring. They are lightweight in my ears and I am getting a ton of compliments on them!
I love when pieces can carry you from one season to the next. Scoop up these pieces now and plan on wearing them through the summer season!
