October Style Board

I cannot get over all the unbelievable fall style I am seeing out there! From fresh denim trends to vibrant fall colors to cozy sweaters and richly embroidered clothing, this is truly the best time of year to be adding to your closet! I am just getting started this month with some of my favorite fashion for fall in today’s October Style Board.

Denim

Three denim trends have emerged that I am absolutely loving: Embroidered, Kick Flare and Distressed Hem which are all featured in the Style Board. I love shopping at H&M, Zara or Topshop to explore any of these options as these retailers make it easy to wear the trend without breaking the bank but if anything is worth splurging on, I am absolutely drooling over these from Net-A-Porter. Yet if you are not feeling these trends, skinny denim and flared denim continue to be great go-to styles as well, with my favorites lines still being Rag & Bone, Blank NYC and Just Black. While I will definitely be bringing my favorite boot and booties to the blog, right now I love wearing all my denim with a great heel.

Tops

There is nothing like snuggling into your favorite sweater this time of year. I have found two that I am already living in (here and here) and while sweaters often stand alone and do not need additional styling, there is another huge trend taking place that I love: slipping on a camisole or  lace tank underneath an oversized cardigan. This brings such a touch of femininity to your look. I also love the idea of a camisole paired with leather pants, an embroidered  bomber jacket. and again, a great pair of heels.

Fall Reds

Maybe I was first attracted to the rich reds of fall because they go so well with navy but now I am finding myself wearing this color with just about anything and everything. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I invested in these Vince heels a couple of years back and continue to wear them every season. There is a similar and less expensive pair here as well! I love them with denim, leather leggings or a dress and they are a great color to transition into winter with! I always love everything Rebecca Minkoff does in handbags and she has done a lot in fall reds this season! The one seen in the pictures is sold out but I love just as much, if not more, the one here. Getting a fresh manicure in a fall red is another great way to embrace the color this season!

Favorite Fall Style:
