Floral Dress for Fall: Taking it from Day to Night

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. I have been seeing lots of floral everywhere but it’s not something I usually gravitate towards. The colors though caught my eye and I knew it would be a great dress for daytime casual or a night out. I also knew that I had several pieces in my wardrobe that would work with it.  If you have been following my blog, then you know the pieces I styled it with I’ve already had in my closet!

For daytime, I love the fact that I can throw on my Stan Smiths and a navy bomber jacket (on sale!). Perfect for a day downtown! A denim jacket or an oversized blazer would also work well here too! If wearing sneakers is not your thing, then a low bootie is also a great option!

For nighttime, I added a heel and my shimmery bomber (similar) from Zara. I like the idea of this dress with a leather jacket and a velvet suede ankle boot or a leather jacket and an over-the-knee boot. I also love the fact that this is not just a dress for Fall. It would be super cute with a low espadrille or a wrap sandal in the summer or for an upcoming trip to a warm destination!
