This is not my first introduction to spring fashion this year. There has been a nod here and there to some of my early on favorite pieces. Now that we are in May, I want to share though a more comprehensive guide to this year’s spring style. So I have put together a “Spring Wardrobe Checklist”. I always love seeing unexpected trends take shape (white after all is meant for all year round) and style upgrades take place on seasonal classics. That’s why THIS spring is so exciting! Fresh florals and pastels are getting a refresher, green is emerging as the “it” color, and woven bags are not waiting for summer time. Nothing on this checklist is too out of the ordinary either! Meaning, all of these pieces can hang out in your closet for awhile!
Two styles that are quickly taking center stage this spring are fresh florals and woven bags! Personally, I am not a huge lover of floral patterns unless they come in a bold color. That is why I am in love with this red floral maxi dress from Free People. The floral pattern is not overbearing and the color easily takes you into summer. Anyone lucky enough to be traveling to Italy this summer? I can absolutely envision this dress there!
As you know, I have been carrying this woven bag around since Spring Break. I love that woven bags are making such a huge statement this season. They used to be so expensive and now the price points are much more attainable but the quality is still there.
Keep scrolling down for the complete Spring Wardrobe Checklist! (Everything on the list is mostly under $150!)
